Two of the most common track loaders on a site, and on paper they look interchangeable. On high flow they are 0.7 GPM apart — and that gap lands exactly on the wrong side of a threshold.

Two tenths of a gallon

Our forestry mulcher needs a minimum of 30 GPM. The SVL75-3 delivers 29.8.

That is not a rounding error to be waved through. A hydraulic motor sized for 30 GPM turning on 29.8 runs slower than designed, works harder to hold its cut, and heats the oil doing it. The failure is gradual and it gets blamed on the operator.

So the honest answer on that pairing is no, and we would rather say it here than after it is on a truck. The T740 clears the same minimum by half a gallon and runs it.

Everything else is a wash

On standard flow the Kubota's 19.2 GPM clears every attachment in the catalogue that does not require high flow — forks, buckets, grapples, augers, backhoe, mixer, snow. The 3.8 GPM the Bobcat has in hand buys speed on some of them, not capability.

If you are not mulching, this comparison does not decide anything.

The pressure figure nobody reads

The SVL75-3 runs 3,185 psi. That is comfortably inside what attachments are rated for, so it is not a problem here — but it is worth knowing the number exists, because on machines running 4,000 psi and above you can match the flow perfectly and still be over on pressure. That is a real way to lose a motor and almost nobody checks it.
