If something goes wrong
Returns & Warranty
The honest version, including the parts that cost you money.
Freight-sized returns are expensive and most sites hide that in a wall of text. Here it is in plain language.
30 days to return it
Unused, in original condition, in its original packaging. Contact us first for a return authorisation — an attachment sent back without one can be refused at the depot.
What a return actually costs you
- Return freight is yours unless the item was wrong or defective. On a 1,000 lb attachment that is real money — usually several hundred dollars.
- A restocking fee may apply where the manufacturer charges us one. We will tell you the exact figure before you ship it back, not after.
- Used equipment cannot be returned. Once it has been in the ground it is used, and we have not found a supplier in this industry that takes it back.
If it arrives damaged or wrong, none of that applies
We pay freight both ways and you get a full refund or a replacement, your choice. The one condition: note the damage on the Bill of Lading before you sign for it. See Shipping & Freight for the full step-by-step — that signature is the whole ballgame.
The return we would rather prevent
The most common return in this category is "it does not fit my machine." That is the one we are built to stop.
Send us your make and model before you order. We will check flow, case drain, mounting plate and lift capacity, and we will tell you not to buy it if that is the answer. It costs us nothing to say no and it costs you several hundred dollars to find out the hard way.
Warranty
Attachments carry the manufacturer's warranty — typically 12 months on workmanship, varying by brand. The exact terms are on each product page.
CheckTwo things void it everywhere, so know them:
- Running a piston-motor attachment without a case drain line. Back-pressure kills the seals and it is not covered.
- Running more flow than the attachment is rated for. Over-flow damage is treated as operator error by every manufacturer we deal with.
Both are on every product page for exactly this reason. Wear parts — teeth, cutting edges, bits — are consumables and are never covered.
Making a claim
Email support@rightfitattachments.com with your order number, photos, and your machine's make and model. We file with the manufacturer for you rather than handing you a phone number.
Not sure it fits? Ask before you buy.
Send your make and model — we'll run all six fitment checks and tell you straight, including when the answer is don't buy it.
