Attachments for a Bobcat T66

Bobcat T66 — 17.6 GPM standard, 26.9 GPM high flow. GPM means gallons of hydraulic oil per minute — what powers an attachment's moving parts. This is the machine that proves the words are broken. 26.9 GPM is the lowest number badged "high flow" on any machine we've checked.

Runs on standard flow (17.6 GPM)

• Pallet forks — no hydraulics needed. It just bolts on.
• Rock bucket — no hydraulics needed.
• Snow pusher — no hydraulics needed.
• Root grapple, 12–25 GPM — yes.
• Auger drive, 10–25 GPM — yes. No case drain needed — it runs a gear motor, not a piston motor.
• Backhoe, 10–25 GPM — yes.
• Concrete mixer, 10–25 GPM — yes.
• Snow plough, 10–25 GPM — yes.
• Trencher, 16–30 GPM — yes, near the bottom of its range. Case drain required.
• Brush cutter, 17–30 GPM — yes, just barely inside its range.

Needs high flow (26.9 GPM)

• Stump grinder, 18–35 GPM — yes, on high flow. On standard flow it's marginal — right at the edge of what it needs. Case drain required.

Will not run, even with the high flow upgrade

• Forestry mulcher, 30–45 GPM — no. 26.9 GPM is over three gallons a minute short, and no adapter or fitting closes that gap.

If you paid for high flow on a T66, read this

• Spartan sells a Professional Series mulcher that needs 31–42 GPM.
• Spartan also sells an Industrial Series mulcher that needs 29–44 GPM.
• At 26.9 GPM, your T66 runs neither one — even after you paid extra for the high flow option.

That's not a Bobcat problem specifically. It's a naming problem across the whole industry: "high flow" doesn't mean any one fixed number. That's exactly why we print the actual GPM number on every page instead of just the word.

How much weight it can lift

The T66's rated operating capacity — its safe working load — is 2,450 lb. Pushed to the higher 50% rating, it's 3,500 lb. Tipping load, the point where the front end starts to lift off the ground, is 7,000 lb.

Our rock bucket needs at least 2,000 lb of lift capacity to run safely. The T66 clears that by 450 lb — a real pass, though not the tightest margin we've found (the CAT 259D3 clears it by just 10 lb). It still passes comfortably. But if you're already running this machine near its limit with something else on the forks, that's worth knowing before you add a full rock bucket on top.

How it hooks up to attachments

The T66 uses Bobcat's standard universal quick-attach plate — the same industry-standard mount used across most full-size machines from other brands, like Case, Deere, and Caterpillar. Bobcat does build smaller "mini" track loaders that use a different, smaller plate, but the T66 is a full-size machine and isn't one of them.
