Attachments for a John Deere 333G

John Deere 333G — 25.0 GPM standard, 41.1 GPM high flow, 3,450 psi. GPM means gallons per minute — how much hydraulic oil (the fluid that powers attachments) the machine pushes out. This machine has the biggest standard-flow circuit of any machine we've checked, and a high-flow circuit far above what most attachments are built for.

Runs on standard flow (25.0 GPM)

• Pallet forks, rock bucket, and snow pusher — no hydraulics needed. They bolt straight on.
• Root grapple, needs 12–25 GPM — yes, right at the top of what it can take.
• Auger drive, needs 10–25 GPM — yes, right at the top. No case drain needed — it runs a gear motor, not a piston motor.
• Backhoe, needs 10–25 GPM — yes, right at the top.
• Concrete mixer, needs 10–25 GPM — yes, right at the top.
• Snow plough, needs 10–25 GPM — yes, right at the top.
• Trencher, needs 16–30 GPM — yes, with room to spare. Needs a case drain too.
• Brush cutter, needs 17–30 GPM — yes.
• Stump grinder, needs 18–35 GPM — yes. Needs a case drain too.

Needs high flow (41.1 GPM)

• Forestry mulcher, needs 30–45 GPM — yes, with room to work.

Watch for too much flow — five attachments are right at the edge

• Anything rated up to 25 GPM is running at its ceiling on your standard flow, not below it: grapple, auger, backhoe, mixer, snow plough. That's fine — the machine is built to run there — just know there's no spare capacity underneath those numbers.
• Only the mulcher should ever see your high flow. 41.1 GPM is higher than every other attachment's top limit in our catalogue. Feed that much oil into a smaller motor and you'll overspeed it.

How much weight it can lift

Lift capacity, or ROC (rated operating capacity), is the safe weight limit the manufacturer sets for a machine. Go past it and the machine gets unstable.

The John Deere 333G has an ROC of 3,700 lb. Our rock bucket needs a machine rated at 2,000 lb ROC or higher. The 333G clears that by 1,700 lb — a comfortable margin, and one of the highest lift ratings among the machines in this series.

How attachments mount

The 333G uses the Universal Skid Steer quick-attach plate — John Deere calls its own version Quik-Tatch. It's built to the same industry-standard bracket used by full-size machines across almost every brand. This is a full-size track loader, not a mini, so this is the plate you'll be ordering attachments for.
