Will This Fit Your Machine?

Yes, if your loader can lift at least 2,000 lb and takes a Universal Skid Steer (SSL) quick-attach plate. This is a mechanical attachment — no hydraulics needed, so flow rate and case drain (things that matter for hydraulic tools) do not apply here.

What you can actually carry

This bucket weighs about 900 lb empty. Your machine's rated operating capacity (called ROC — the safe weight limit) has to cover the bucket and what is inside it. So:

• Bobcat T740 — 3,200 lb ROC minus 900 lb bucket = 2,300 lb of rock you can actually carry.
• Kubota SVL75-3 — 2,490 lb ROC minus 900 lb bucket = 1,590 lb of rock.
• CAT 259D3 — 2,010 lb ROC minus 900 lb bucket = 1,110 lb of rock, at the tightest margin of any machine we've checked (see the CAT 259D3 guide).

Most sellers just quote your machine's ROC number and let you find out the hard way that the bucket itself eats into it. We do the subtraction for you.

Finding Your ROC, And What Happens If You Ignore It

ROC is printed on a rating plate on your machine, usually near the operator's seat, or in the spec sheet. It is not a suggestion — it is the point where your machine starts to tip forward.

A full bucket that sits fine on the ground can still tip the machine forward the moment you lift and reach out, especially on a slope or uneven ground. That is why the bucket's own weight counts against your ROC before you load anything — you have less room to work with than the sticker number suggests.

Do not buy this one if

• Your loader's ROC is under 2,000 lb. You would be able to lift the empty bucket and almost nothing inside it.
• You mostly move soil, not rock. This bucket has gaps that let dirt fall through (called a "skeleton" bucket). If you want to keep the dirt, get a solid standard bucket instead.
• You run a mini skid steer. Mini machines use a different mount plate entirely. We sell those separately.
