Attachments for a Bobcat T770

Bobcat T770 — 23.0 GPM standard, 36.6 GPM high flow. GPM means gallons per minute — how much hydraulic oil (the fluid that powers attachments) the machine pushes out. This machine has enough high flow to run everything in our catalogue. That flips the usual risk around: on the T770, the danger isn't too little flow. It's too much.

Runs on standard flow (23.0 GPM)

• Pallet forks, rock bucket, and snow pusher — no hydraulics needed. They bolt straight on.
• Root grapple, needs 12–25 GPM — yes.
• Auger drive, needs 10–25 GPM — yes. No case drain needed — it runs a gear motor, not a piston motor.
• Backhoe, needs 10–25 GPM — yes.
• Concrete mixer, needs 10–25 GPM — yes.
• Snow plough, needs 10–25 GPM — yes.
• Trencher, needs 16–30 GPM — yes. Needs a case drain too.
• Brush cutter, needs 17–30 GPM — yes.
• Stump grinder, needs 18–35 GPM — yes. Needs a case drain too.

Needs high flow (36.6 GPM)

• Forestry mulcher, needs 30–45 GPM — yes, with plenty of room inside the range.

Watch for too much flow — this is the real risk on this machine

• Trencher tops out at 30 GPM. Your high flow sends 36.6. Run it on standard.
• Brush cutter tops out at 30 GPM. Same rule — standard flow only.
• Stump grinder tops out at 35 GPM. Also over the high-flow number — run it on standard too.
• Pushing 36.6 GPM into a motor built for 30 spins it faster than it was designed for. That heats the oil and wears the motor out early, quietly enough that it usually gets blamed on the operator instead of the flow setting.

How much weight it can lift

Lift capacity, or ROC (rated operating capacity), is the safe weight limit the manufacturer sets for a machine. Go past it and the machine gets unstable.

The Bobcat T770 has an ROC of 3,475 lb. Our rock bucket needs a machine rated at 2,000 lb ROC or higher. The T770 clears that by 1,475 lb — a comfortable margin.

How attachments mount

The T770 uses the Universal Skid Steer quick-attach plate — Bobcat calls its own version Bob-Tach. It's the same style of mount used by full-size machines across almost every brand. The T770 is a full-size track loader, not a mini, so this is the plate you'll be ordering attachments for.
