Attachments for a Takeuchi TL12V2

Takeuchi TL12V2 — 23.2 GPM standard, 40.4 GPM high flow, 3,481 psi. GPM means gallons per minute — how much hydraulic oil (the fluid that powers attachments) the machine pushes out. PSI means pounds per square inch — how hard that oil pushes. This machine runs everything in our catalogue on standard flow alone, with a big high-flow circuit sitting in reserve for one job: the mulcher.

Runs on standard flow (23.2 GPM)

• Pallet forks, rock bucket, and snow pusher — no hydraulics needed. They bolt straight on.
• Root grapple, needs 12–25 GPM — yes.
• Auger drive, needs 10–25 GPM — yes. No case drain needed — it runs a gear motor, not a piston motor.
• Backhoe, concrete mixer, and snow plough, all 10–25 GPM — yes to all three.
• Trencher, needs 16–30 GPM — yes. Needs a case drain too.
• Brush cutter, needs 17–30 GPM — yes.
• Stump grinder, needs 18–35 GPM — yes. Needs a case drain too.

Needs high flow (40.4 GPM)

• Forestry mulcher, needs 30–45 GPM — yes.

Watch for too much flow — the mulcher is the only thing that belongs on high

• At 40.4 GPM, your high-flow circuit sits above the top limit of every other attachment we sell.
• Trencher and brush cutter cap at 30 GPM. Stump grinder caps at 35. Grapple, auger, backhoe, mixer, and plough all cap at 25.
• Keep all of those on standard flow. Only switch to high flow for the mulcher.

Pressure

• This machine runs at 3,481 psi — near the top of what attachments are commonly built to handle. Worth checking the pressure rating on anything you order for it, not just the GPM.

How much weight it can lift

Lift capacity, or ROC (rated operating capacity), is the safe weight limit the manufacturer sets for a machine. Go past it and the machine gets unstable.

The TL12V2 has an ROC of 4,107 lb. Our rock bucket needs a machine rated at 2,000 lb ROC or higher. This machine clears that by more than double, over 2,100 lb of margin.

How attachments mount

The TL12V2 uses the Universal Skid Steer quick-attach plate, the same style of mount used by full-size machines across almost every brand. This is a full-size track loader, not a mini, so this is the plate you'll be ordering attachments for.
